History: Qualen lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.

History: She was born at the edge of vast plains. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Map Maker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Map Maker work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Gifted from a young age, Zagga studied abroad. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 14 years.

Personality: In the realm of puns, she cannot help herself. She feels obliged to make them. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Torgga was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Masseuse.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He became a Layabout soon after.
