History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Doctor work with an outfit from a few towns over. Doctor work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Syllin and her spouse have recently divorced.

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep black leather and dull violet iron scale mail. His small hat is riddled with cuts and holes. He has gleaming, smiling blue eyes.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Bûth was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Adept, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Adept in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and retire the richest woman in the west

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears a robe, a symbol of luck around his neck, and a nunchaku on his belt, and a wedding ring on his left hand. He has blonde hair. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines green.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
