History: Matilda was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the west. At a young age her father died while driving off some orcs. Her mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in greatsword use. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and she desires to right it
