History: Born in the north to a Knight, Bharash learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. Being a Knight kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: She was raised in a island tribe. Jelenneth was born on a far western island where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Tanner. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions
