History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature bastard sword.

History: Thoradin hails from a village terrorized by giants. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered giants who tried to eat his hand. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and a deep hatred of giants
