He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has worked as a Layabout like his mother before him.

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. A true patriot, Nija would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Nija lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and marry her brother to traveling adventurers

She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Elf in existence. She is a thrill seeker, she laughs at people and throws down challenges. She is highly competitive and combative.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She found a children's book about a Elf Commoner who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

Personality: She is envious of other's things. She hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that she so desires. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: Mary was born with her father's beautiful face. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Locksmith work with an outfit from a few towns over. Locksmith work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Kallista's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Kallista was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Kallista was born on a far northern desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Ruler. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
