History: Born in the south to a Map Maker, Yevelda learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She dropped out of school to support her sick father, and resented it. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Stylist they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Map Maker, and she later adopted a second son.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Felosial was born on a far western island where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Courier. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He worked as a nervous Shipwright and found it very stressful. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of giants once and for all.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Scribe. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Dorn fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
