History: She was born in the west. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. Ranala is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. While she appears to be a normal Gnome, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

History: Roland was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, orcs burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying north to reunite his family. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and a deep hatred of orcs
