History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Through the years after Arara was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Arara's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Arara and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Ethereal hails from a village terrorized by giants. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Gnomish activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
