History: She was born into a rich family. In her youth she was a Butcher, and wanted to be a champion fighter when she grew up. She was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives she lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger brother on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Artin fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. At a young age her mother died while driving off some gnolls. Her father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in club use. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: She is greedy; and wants her loneliness to end

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: Her necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Motivation: To pay off her debts; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it
