History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Alston liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Being a Cartwright kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Dilettante for the past few years.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and his religion dominates his actions

History: Eberdeb was born with his father's beautiful face. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He's also a talented Stylist, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). His head has been shaved. His eyes are likewise gray. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Dwarven people; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

History: He was born in the east. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the east were limited. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: Expand his business; and balancing his hectic life and new miner responsibilities is difficult
