Description: This woman stands a little under 4'9" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She wears dark leathers with embroidery. Her auburn hair is unkempt and raggedy. Her fierce violet eyes like to dwell on things.
Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Sailor born in the past three hundred years. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.
History: Vaina was born the youngest of three triplets. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Sailor. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Description: This late middle aged woman dresses well, typically a more casual-formal manner and is in decent physical shape. Her hair is long and red with streaks of silver, and is pulled back with small white clips. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.
Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. Vanchu is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.
History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and to get a good night's sleep

Personality: Roywyn wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Commoner, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
Motivation: He is greedy.

Description: 4'10" and lanky with angular features, she is an attractive figure. She is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. Her red hair is cut short. Her violet eyes are slightly larger than normal.
Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She has a habit of throwing herself into exceedingly dangerous situations.
History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
