History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and to be a interpreter again

History: Mastema was born the youngest of three triplets. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Dragonborn activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Dragonborn doctor. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Miner and was forced into it by her family; and a strong sense of loyalty to dragonborn people
