History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Rathkran was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Like her mother and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Carpenter. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: She comes from a rich western family. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Bricklayer. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Bricklayer for hire.

Motivation: To be a Mason again; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Farmer. She tends to her Farmer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and wants to open a new tavern
