Mara Selevarun, Female Elf [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A pudgy woman standing about 4'7" has a big stupid grin on her face most of the time. She wears a large hat to cast shadows over her face and wears ponchos to better hide her body. Her hair is black, silky, and of moderate length. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her amber eyes.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Mara embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.
History: Mara was born the youngest of three triplets. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She struck the Crown-heir job and began her own company from there.
Motivation: Money/treasure; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion
Flaws: Antagonistic. Bonds: Attractive, Family, Job, Rich. Occupation: Crown-heir
Voice: Dark and ominous

Oriff Trueanvil, Female Dwarf [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: With black face paint in a stripe pattern across her face, she sports grey clothing, slightly heavier than average wear. Her golden hair is greasy and uncared for. Her hazel eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.
History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. After months of barely getting by, Oriff managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, she made her way to the capital under a new identity.
Motivation: She has decided she is irredeemable; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
Ideals: Justice. Flaws: Ugly, Cynical. Bonds: Criminal record, Rich. Occupation: Junk Dealer
Voice: growls and snarls, animalistic

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign.
