To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Astar. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: She was born in the north. Serpent was born on a far northern desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Doctor. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Doctor for the past few years.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and balancing her hectic life and new doctor responsibilities is difficult

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Like her father and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Carter. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Serpent fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
