History: Born to a Map Maker, her father struggled to pay the bills. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Jacoba fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Through the years after Orla was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Orla's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Eleanor grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Tiefling companion (her 'brother'). She has dedicated herself to building a better world.

History: Ahvain was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Merchant. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Many drow want him driven away; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
