History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is her passion; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

History: Vani was born with her father's beautiful face. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Vani fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
