Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

He keeps his long black hair kept up in a rat tail. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines amber.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. A true patriot, Quick would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Born to a Cook, her mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Stableman hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to brigands.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Duergath's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Marshal they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Ruler, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and to reunite with his absent father
