History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the west were limited. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Orc companion (his 'brother'). Upon awakening, Harbek discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Harbek fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
