Personality: Nella is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: She got into the Guard business at a young age. Like her mother and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Guard. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Emmeline was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Description: An older man who wears well tailored suits and hats with beautiful decoration. He is almost always dressed for an outing in high society, he is not a threatening figure. He has shaved his head bald. He is baby faced.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Chad hails from a village terrorized by giants. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. He's also a talented Architect, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
