Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him.

History: Emen lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Emen was a troubled youth. Emen decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and obtaining odd cultural halfling artifacts is her passion

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Through the years after Diggory was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Diggory's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often.
