She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. The war was a terrible time for her, and Aline does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Aline and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was born into a rich family. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.
