Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Ashgarn was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Ekemon was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ekemon fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Elaim was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is his passion.
