Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Sage but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. Being a Sage kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: She wears a blue coat over a white low-cut shirt, and a feathered hat upon her head. She carries a battered mace and tarnished morningstar as well. Her chestnut hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a butterfly scrunchie. Her eyes are green and beady.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 28. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she has passion for adventuring and risk

Her silver hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Gnomish activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Gnomish people; and to get a good night's sleep

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with singing. He constantly tries to fill his life with singing. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
