History: Althaea was born with her mother's beautiful face. History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the south were limited. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

The war was a terrible time for her, and Marigold does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. When Marigold reached her early adolescence her Halfling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has never given up on her writing dream.
