When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Carter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Shepherd. She has taken up work as a Shepherd and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Hlin and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and she seems to be bored by most things
