Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Born in the south to a Brewer, Ranala learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. Wiggan is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Wiggan was born the youngest of three triplets. His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. Ahlyssa is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. After coming to the age of reason, Ahlyssa took it upon herself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things; and doesn't want to be a dyer and was forced into it by her family

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and to reunite with his absent father
