Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Jillian is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Furrele grew up listening to her father's many stories. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Scribe. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Bertram embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He is an amazing painter.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bertram fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: She has a large blue mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into her brown robe. She is physically well-built. Her red hair is matted, messy, and big. Her eyes are blue and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Waywocket liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She bought a falchion and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk she knows how to make people feel guilty. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Cartwright. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Cartwright responsibilities is difficult.
