History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Lamlis has worked very hard to control his curse. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the east were limited. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Joan grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Joan. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. A freak accident while working with her Cook mother left her crippled. She now spends her time doing works of charity.
