History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Bharash was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and wants to work out more often

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Edge was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions
