History: Born in the east to a Knight, Sumnes learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Knight. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.
