History: Balam was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 11 years.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Dara grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Ilde is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. Some 4 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Ilde never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

Personality: She exudes charisma. She is a tour de force of persuasion. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her music with anyone who is interested.

History: Beleth lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To unite with her sister; and to reunite with her absent father

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Rhogar will drive conversation. He takes great joy in being the best Navigator in town.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has achieved small success as a Navigator.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
