Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. A true patriot, Flame would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Flame was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. After a long history of fighting, Flame and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs. His long golden hair reaches down to his waist. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his brown eyes.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Gifted from a young age, Adelard studied abroad. His parents enrolled him in a Commoner school at a young age so that he could practice his martial talents. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature scythe.

Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. The war was a terrible time for her, and Jheri does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 12 years.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and her religion dominates her actions

History: He got into the Tanner business at a young age. A gifted student he started as a Ruler, but he got bored and became a Tanner. He has achieved small success as a Tanner.

Motivation: To be a Ruler again; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac
