Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Glim was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Dilettante hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Motivation: He wants revenge against goblins.

Description: This man is very fat, and prefers to wear grey clothing when he does not wear armor. He has silver hair. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Bernard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying west to reunite his family. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Bernard was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and someone believes him a fraud
