Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Through the years after Valida was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.
