Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Katherine grew up listening to her mother's many stories. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has never given up on her painting dream.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Ishte was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: To be a Dyer again; and a deep hatred of goblins

Personality: Pallabar speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: He got into the Tanner business at a young age. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He wants to get laid.

History: Born to a Cartwright, her father struggled to pay the bills. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
