History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Syllin was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Syllin decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
