History: The child of a Blacksmith, who enjoyed hunting, Tod was taken on many hunting expeditions. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was born at the edge of vast island. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his hammer with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt, and is pretty ugly. His white hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a Stetson hat. He has several tiny sapphire earrings on each ear.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Gormogord was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

He wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat, and his gloved hand is found clutching a bastard sword. His blonde hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Herbalist.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
