History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. Maynild liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. At a young age his father died while driving off some brigands. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in longsword use. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Alvyn was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it.
