In the process these unassuming Dwarves became a terror of the countryside. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Mayor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. Her philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Tordrid hails from a village terrorized by giants. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it; and to pay off her debts

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
