History: Karg was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Aristocrat, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Aristocrat in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Half-Orc Aristocrat who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Alberich lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Alberich alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
