His father had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Hork was heart-stricken from the event, and his mother started working long hours to provde for them. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: Emerald was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Uraim grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Uraim abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.
