History: Alexandre hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as she rather likes the sound of her voice. Her demeanor is somewhat feminine. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Through the years after Shava was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Shava's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
