History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A freak accident while working with his Apothecary father left him crippled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.
