Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: Birel lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Fisher they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Courier, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He takes great joy in being the best Ruler in town.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Paelias took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up bow and armor he uses now. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 12 years.
