Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Nicholas was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: Gennal is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. After coming to the age of reason, Gennal took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things.

Description: This late middle aged man is dressed in earthy colors with a tan and pastel handkerchief worn on his right side and is in decent physical shape. His black hair is thinning but still full. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and balancing his hectic life and new fortune-teller responsibilities is difficult

Personality: She is fixated on the number 23. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her mother took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.
