Description: A pudgy man standing about 4'1" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears a tight fitting brown shirt and pants. He wears his black hair up in a very large beehive style do. He has several tiny topaz earrings on each ear.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Thoradin took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up glaive and armor he uses now. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has achieved small success as a Miner.

Motivation: To be a Carter again; and balancing his hectic life and new miner responsibilities is difficult

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Ildrex was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many goblins want him driven away; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
