To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Mella. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

Personality: Naivara speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and nothing but the best is good enough for her

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Gillyd alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and retire the richest man in the north

History: She was born in the west. A gifted student she started as a Slave Trader, but she got bored and became a Cook. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Cook for hire.
