History: Pearl hails from a village terrorized by brigands. At a young age her father died while driving off some brigands. Her mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in dagger use. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. In her youth she was a Detective, and wanted to be a champion fighter when she grew up. She was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives she lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger sister on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
